Arrival at Paro International airport, you will be greeted and transfer to our hotel. After rest, you will visit the National Museum, located in the watchtower (Ta Dzong) of Paro Dzong. After the museum you precede to Paro Rinpung Dzong, which was built by the founding father of Bhutan, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1646. We will also visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. Overnight at hotel
After breakfast, drive to Thimpu which takes about 1 hour. After check in hotel, you will visit Memorial Chorten (built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reigned from 1952-1972), nunnery temple, mini zoo to see Takin, the national animal of Bhutan. Overnight at Hotel
In the morning, you will visit the busy Weekend Market at the bank of the Thimphu River where people from nearby villages come to sell their farm products.In the busy market, we get to see a variety of food of the country, including basket upon basket of fiery chilies, fresh cheese, and fruits. Then you will visit other landmarks of Thimphu including the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutanese traditional painting school, folk heritage museum, the majestic Tashichho Dzong and the traditional paper factory. However, some of the landmarks are closed in the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochu La Pass (3,100m) which takes about 2-3 hours. On the way, you will visit the fertility Temple known as Chimi Lhakhang. This temple is built in 1499 and dedicated to the Divine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley. After reaching Punakha, we also visit Punakha Dzong which was built between 1637-1638.It is the second oldest and the second largest dzong in Bhutan. Overnight at Hotel
In the morning, we explore around Wangduephodrang then drive through dense oak and rhododendron forests to Gangtey which takes about 5-6 hours. Gangtey is a beautiful village surrounded by amazing snow-capped mountains. From here, you will enjoy the picturesque view of Black Mountain ranges as well as the beautiful Phobjikha valley. You will Explore around Phobjikha villages then drive back to Punakha. Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast you will drive back to Paro. On the way, you will visit the new Druk Wangyal Monastery, which is the only of its kind in the country with elaborate paintings depicting the lineage of the present monarchy and their visionary works. Overnight at Hotel
After breakfast, hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3,180 meters. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach to Monastery. After having explored the monastery, hike down to the valley floor. Overnight at Hotel
Drive to Paro Internation airport and fly back to own destination.
